This website is mainly about interesting and humorous stories. I cover stuff like my slightly miffed list, which is a light-hearted look at the myriad of pesky annoying things that I guess we all have to deal with.
I’ve started doing posts on building a website because that is what I am doing myself! And I thought it would be useful to share some of that stuff. At the time of writing I have just re-installed WordPress on the host server. Boy am I glad I saved all my posts and pages as individual html files. Very powerful and well worth the work.

I have been a keen walker, as in hiking in the countryside, for twenty five years. I have started writing up some of this now. I have been in touch with Ordnance Survey, the British map makers, about what I can and can’t publish on my website. I shall be sharing this and ideas of what, and what cannot, be shared from Google Maps too.
I am in to Mindfulness, the practice of (A) learning how to rest your mind and (B) how to use your mind to solve problems. To to be proactive in problem solving and not reactive (panicking and kicking-off!)
I give a flavour of my research work at the University of Manchester on my “about us” page.

I also intend to cover Space Flight, including where we are up to with warp drive, anti-gravity (if either of these things are ever even possible!) NASA is looking into Warp Drive. Also the ethics of what technology exists, what can reasonably be released from possible military use. Being safe from potential aggressors on this planet has to come before trying to reach other planets. Can we colonise other worlds? What about the ethics of doing this?
